Below is a photograph of 24 Colborne St. W. taken during
the 1980's. My grandmother, Lorene Jacobi was also born
in this family house and wanted to take a drive out to see it.
Although boarded up at that time it has since become occupied.
Death
Death in 1926
Cause of death is listed as 'hypostatic pneumonia and cardiac failure' to which had
contributed an 'impacted fracture to the head of the left femur'. (A broken hip)
He was buried at the Oshawa Union Cemetery.
