PERKINS FAMILY and KIN

This has become an extremely long page and may expand even further when, and if,
I am able to find more information or photos.  The chronological list is just below
the portraits of George and Joanna and, therefore, the information about
each Perkins 'child' follows in that same order.

The photographs have been compressed
for uploading so they're fine for your computer files but
if you want a high-resolution copy for a better print copy
just let me know and I'll send it to you.

In doing some of the research I found a photograph of the
original log cabin schoolhouse that Susannah would have attended
when she lived in Keppel.  As you read the article that goes with the
photo you'll see that the 'newer' school was built in 1876 and, therefore,
would have been the school for a couple of the younger Perkins children.

Alma Perkins Jacobi has her own page HERE
Alma was the first of the children to be
born in Oshawa.  This is a photograph of their
house in Oshawa before it was demolished
for a carwash.
I'm so glad Grandad got this photograph.  He did it
because this is the house where Lorene Jacobi (Nan) was born.
